Just because people don't agree with the price doesn't mean that people cannot afford it. I could buy that off this months wages.

It's a 16 year old Corsa that has been re-sprayed.

As I said elsewhere, it's not as if the GSi Corsa will go down in history as a great car. Look at Series 1 RS Turbo prices and look at how much more a mint unmolested example fetches than a restored (hence painted one) gets. There is a reason people pay a premium for a factory painted car, because there is a reason people have them re-painted in the first place.

Short of a shell which has been dipped and etch-primed I would always be very suspicious of a re-painted car.

Don't get me wrong, it is a very nice Corsa and it looks well done but there are a lot of very nice Corsas out there.

Would be best to stick it in the garage for another 10 years then maybe you will get your 8k

So your saying the gsi would be worth more not having a full respray with the odd stone chips and 16year old odd imperfection paint left alone?

My Gte is 20years old, around 50k low miles. and thats had 2resprays pretty much so its immaculate. probably shouldnt of bothered in that essence.

Good luck with sale anyway!

I actually said it's a nice car, just over-priced.

Anyway, if you want your advert to be taken more seriously maybe you should get someone with a basic grasp of the English language to compile it for you? People generally like to think that they are dealing with someone who possesses a modicum of literacy.
Poor use of English on an advert leads people to think of one of two things;
Firstly, if he cannot spend the time to run an advert through a spell-checker then has he spent the time to do these jobs properly?
Secondly, if he cannot write properly then has he paid for a proper job to be done? You don't tend to get too many illiterate high-earners you see.

Anyway, good luck with the sale and I hope you get what you want for it. Maybe use the money to get an education?

No, I don't even have MS Word on this computer. It was because I was eating a Kiev and before you ask, no that's not somewhere in Russia.

EDIT: @ him deleting his posts.

I assume he realised he made himself look like a bit of a muppet and decided to do a U turn?

You are trying to sell your car though and people are also buying into the 'previous owner', therefore your spelling isn't helping matters because that is how you portray yourself online and you do not come across very well. It's like buying a car from trader with a wooden leg, a parrot on his shoulder and an eye-patch. It would set alarm bells ringing with people.

Ya get me blud? Sick init ya nob.

Do people buy cars at midnight? I expect to see it on eGay or the like again shortly...

Nothing 'want to be' about it. I own one, a high spec one when you look at many out there. I don't see too many Corsa's with rear 4 pots do you?

I would pretty much agree with that, other than for seriously hard/competition use.

Mind you Nic, I have to stick to reflectors for my BMX according to this trumpet as I couldn't afford his car.

alright ricky cant believe your going to sell this, guys i know ricky personally for years and i bought my corsa sport off him he is corsa mad and found me a dam good example of a 14 sport if not the best example left with only 26k miles on it and original and iv done few bits to it since i got it off him. ricky is a genuine and honest guy and the reason for why the car was painted is because he is so dam picky when it comes to having a spotless car, this car does not move out of the garage polished on a regualr basis and he really does love this wee car and i know ricky if he doesnt get what he wants for it he wont let it go to anyone. this is one of the best examples of a GSI corsa left and even down to the engine its spotless he really does look after it. its worth every penny. good luck with sale ricky and its a shame to see it go

to be honest, it looks nice, looks clean, he can charge what he wants it is his car, i hope he gets what he wants for it but i also hope he dont shoot himself in the foot at the same time by getting all this negative feedback from it.

good luck with the sale and nice car.
