Id agree with that, students piss me off, my gf was one for 3 years, I spent many many weekends with them, a rag arsed plumber amongst vegiterian, wine drinking, ready meal eating do gooders who raise the tone of their voice at the end of every sentence

Ed, can you honestly say though, from being in a position of going straight frmo school into uni, having paid no taxes in your life, not had a proper job, probably not even driven a car, that they are in a good position to know what decisions and policies are best for the country?

You're a fucking moron. Every time you get challenged you seem to try to turn it around like that.

Liberal is a lovely word that attracts student preaching.

There is nothing liberal about them, unless you count collective liberalism, aka socialism.

They would be better titled "Socialist Dictators".

I am quite happy to admit i am making sweeping statements here, and im not narrow minded enough to assume that ALL people who attend uni are of this nature, but the majority are and its the majority that wins in this game

do you mean the uni itself or say, how a course is paid for indiviually, either way its not really relevant, because its certainly not usually funded by a student having to work for the funds, its either paid for by mummy and daddy, or govt funding, or student loan that never gets paid back

Lib dems would be a better party to take over if things were running smoothly, it will take a party that is slightly unfair and harsh and have the balls to piss off the minority to benefit the majority in certain areas to sort the country out

How is a uni night out any different to the shit you see in most towns?

What about all the mugs who are not students who cripple the NHS with their drink binging and drug taking?

Your views are just narrow minded and simple. There is more to anything than meets the eye.

After years working in a student bar, the only troubles we had was at weekend, when Joe Public was out blowing £100 on their night, getting wasted, and destroying everything and everyone they could see.

Student nights very rarely had any violence, probably becuase they could only afford a couple of drinks, or probably because they want relaxing chilled nights out, rather than "I like nothing more than to get paraletic and fight"

Although saying that I went to Uni for 5 years, got 5 years of loan and achieved nothing, only went there to get away from work for a few years. Was working from 15 while at college, got a job straight from that, got sacked because the boss was a prick, so went to uni to have a break from real life.
