Cycling is bad for your knees aparently, did make mine worse and even the doctor said it was worse than running for your knee, doctor told me to lock my knee straight and hold it in the air for 10seconds and then bend it/relax and keep swapping between each leg and do about 10 3times a day to build up what ever muscle it is that holds the knee in place and since then it hasnt cracked half as much although now when it does it hurts more but alot less often.

 I see. I will have to start running everywhere then It's a lot slower than cycling though
