end of the day,its a faster car.what happens when/if you beat it,and someone also comes past you??? you gonna spend aloads to beat him aswell.
theres allways faster cars,simple.

Get a C20LET and be done with it. just get a loan blow it on a corsa and be in debt for a few years. will be the best desion of your life

thats true nic,but how fast can a 1.6 16v go.the blokes got no cash.so the topic is generally not worth starting.
im sure even your car has had problem with other motor's before,probly not ones you see everyday but still. and from my view of reading this thread hes gonna stuff it before the mods are done.

i regulary get beat in my ropey old corrado, but you just find a lesser car and pwn it, then feel better about it

having owned both i would say they handle very similar, maybe the 106 very slightly better

all i know is it had richard burns in it aswell

Yep and a touring car driver! It was definitley one of his videos, I watched it not long ago I'll hunt it out.

and btw i fitted a powerbox to my car and a janspeed 4-2-1 with a sportex system and matching decat
and i managed to pass a gti and he never managed to get past me that was over 7 miles of straights and twistys


Unless the GTI was either being a girl or whatever, i highly doubt you stayed infront of them for 7 miles, plus he would've rinsed you into next week in the bends
