Probably because the things shown on Film 4 aren't owned/licensed etc to by Channel 4, the same reason you can't watch Family Guy on iPlayer.

There's the thing, I want to save it for later really 
I didn't even watch all of the football last night (which is what I missed TG for), I watched the first half then started playing guitar with my mate during half time, then kind of didn't stop Then when it got to the end of the 90 mins I had to go and drop my car off so that I could walk back before it was pitch black outside.
Kind of tempted to go for a bike ride, but there's a massive black cloud plus I don't want to be too knackered for when I have to walk over to the garage (1.5 - 2miles) whenever they ring.
