I think the drive home from buying a car is the best drive you'll ever have in the car, pressing buttons is fun

i drove mine back from bournemouth at about 11pm, was pretty good with empty motorways
and yes Slough is a shit hole

I agree the drive home is good.

I got my Astra from Manchester.


Good fun working out the cruise control etc.

drove my new audi home from sheffield on saturday, was fine getting used to the clutch etc till i was coming back off the motor way in scotland and had to change gears again

Woop Colin phoned a wee while ago, he was only 60 miles from Edinburgh Said he was on a slow stretch of road though ......... Hopefully the waiting for me will be over soon, can't wait to get away from work !

I flew to London to buy a £600 ebay shiter once

That was fun driving it home with an Irish folk music 'tape' blaring out. Going through speed cameras on the A1 and getting flashed towards

pop up headlights, pneumatic seat bolsters, velour interior, digi dash, 2.8 straight 6 - I WAS MICHAEL NIGHT for the drive home.

He's phoned 10 mins ago, 15 miles from Edinburgh now. He's offered to take me out to dinner tonght, he must be happywith his purchase LOL !

Pics, oh there will be plenty It'll probably have ten thousand dead flies sticking to it by now and will need a good wash
