already got it off, i thought masking would of been harder to pull off as it would of torn into little pieces so went with the duct tape

final answer, only got to wait a week or so then i can try buffing it and smoothing the laquer

its just tape i had from detailing kit, when i bought machine polisher etc i think it came from cleanyourcar website.

no reason i used it, it was just closet to hand at the time, then i switched to the cheap white stuff as halfway through i realised i should save my "nice" tape for the other car

i've not spent a great deal, mostly my time, but gives me an excuse to be in the garage and smoke

it'll be a £300-400 car, hopefully it won't die in the 1st week of me driving it
