I've had new cars and drive all types of new cars on a daily basis, they do nothing for me.

It would tip it, are you sure, what good points does the B have over the D out of interest?

Ok lets say both were brand new and the same price

After driving both you would be leaving with the VXR I can assure you.

1.6T 16v VXR 3d 6.8 s 140 mph 189 bhp

1.6 gsi 3d 9.3 s 121 mph 109 bhp

thats not included the fact a vxr has cd, aircon, electrics, better built, better handling, better looking.......

well the fact that you have/have owned 106s in the past and regularly stick up for them states you have a liking for them so must prefer them to new cars. a corsa vxr is as you say a new car.

those pics say it all.

The gsi looks as narrow as a wheel barrow compared to the vxr.

Like ojc said. If they were the same price.
You'd have to be quite a rare one (in nice terms) to take the gsi.

i still wouldnt. The 106:

alot slower, not as good handling, not as good brakes.

a) marginally slower bet theres isnt a great deal in real world
b) are you 100% sure about that?
c) yes 106gti brakes arent great

Thers more to it then those points though, feels a lot more raw, smaller, can throw it about more nimble, because its not so well built/modern it keeps you on edge all the time
