Things like this makes me so mad
I had my front bumper stole off my mk4 astra gsi from outside my house but this takes the 'cheeky bastard of the year' prize imo. The more I think about it the more it boils my blood.
Imagine hearing something in the night and looking out the window to see people in your car pulling the dash out? Fucking rediculous.
Also if it was stole for a catD repair job then surely it would have quicker and easier to fit the lock mech and immobiliser from said catD car then just drive this one away on that key to save breaking in the house?

TBH if I saw anyone taking bits off a car, I would just think its the owner doing some DIY repairs, but a bit strange taking a dash out in early hours.

The amount of people who I've told about this now, and none of them believe me until I see the picture, truly amazing stuff, balls of steel

100% stolen for a crashed car. I looked at buying a few cat c 500's with all dash bags deployed and they are a fortune for all the air bags and dash so didn't buy them.
Very impressive thatthough how they have done it all.

Got Greenlight insurance on my FB for some reason ( I am with them, but still!!)
Saw this morning anyway on their profile - happened to one of their staff this morning:
Is this sort of thing increasing in popularity? Is literally nothing safe? Time to get an alarm that sends electrical currents round the whole car when activated now imo!

Had a few problems down here, mostly BMWs and Mercs. Taking bumpers, wings, doors and just general stuff that would be replaced after a crash.

M3 bumpers were going missing on a weekly basis a while back on the M-Power forum I used. Easy to remove & worth hundreds on ebay etc.
Bit worrying tbh, makes you wonder whts safe these days!!

the st bumpers go missing all the time. mine had 2 screws missing where some cunt had tried to steal it and got spooked.
a bloke down the road from my old houe had his front bumper stolen on his fiesta st and a mk6 fiesta zetec s has it's wheels nicked and left on bricks.
ford stuff is easy to shift on as they're so common so it's easy money and becaue they aren't very well fatened to the car.

exactly this happened to my mate round the corner with his Grande Punto 1.2 Active (bottom of the range)
strange as fuck, with the GP`s the Fiat system says the doors have to be removed, obviously not

anyway, this highlights the advantages of after market alarms.
my toad ai606, when on my fiesta, had a proximity sensor on it so anytime someone walked down the side of it, it beeped loudly.
mainstream factory cars need this really.
