If they're employed and they take pictures then that is part of their job to take pictures, therefore they are employed to take pictures. Or they're not busy a lot of the time.
It does compare well to fixing a car properly. Like a my mechanic said he drank some tea because he wasn't busy, while I was paying by the hour, I would probably be pissed.

Wow, quite pedantic aren't ya.
Polished Bliss have employees who handle the orders. Put them together, package them and send them out. Inbetween making orders, they make themselves available to take pictures.
Therefore they are employed pack orders, but help out whenever necessary.

Thats such a funny thing to say considering they are one of the most successful detailing companies in the country.
Thanks for your input though

I was going to say actually, I don't know how many people realise that PB was originally solely an online store, then employed Murrays brother to do actual detailing, and now offer both - therefore they would have people who don't happen to be working at that precise moment available to take photos.
There are a few out there (who will remain nameless) who are sole traders like myself, yet do take 2 - 3 days to do a job I could do easily in a day, yet the main difference is they post up write ups with a million and one photos in inc what they had to eat all through the day, the weather, the clients pets etc - THAT's timewasting!

What do the other people do all day long?
Surley would be best for one doing orders and phone, one detail and one do bog standard car cleaning if they even do that?

Honestly, this website is brilliant.
If it was a bad idea to get people to take photos and videos, they wouldnt do it as it takes up man hours, time and money.
They are doing it to be one step ahead and make the company look as if they are leading the field in what they do by doing new things to show there skills. They are obviously very successful or they would have been out of business ages ago. Have you actually seen the kind of motors this company deals with? proper top end shit. if i was leaving my £150,000+ plus car with a cleaning company i would want to see there portfolio to see what they have done compaired to my car and the results. I'm sure the person who runs the company has a good grasp of how to build and maintain a business.
Back on topic, i think its a good idea. I would rather watch that than say radio 1 live or big brother.

Indeed it is, rather like X Factor is a popular music competition.
