I have looked at the ZF45A box we were talking about, and there is as I suspected a 1.256:1 ratio available. This actually is quite a good a match for the T5 impeller, and will allow 3,966 rpm which I think Volvo would be happy to sign off.

Hi!
Called H** V*** again this morning. P**** S***** wasn't in but they have given him my number to call me to arrange sign up so hopefully he will call today. If i've not heard by Monday i'll chase it again.
There was also a guy called K****** (Head Chef) at H** V*** who Glen & I signed up on 15th October. It was him I spoke to when I called earlier. He was asking when his NVQ would start as he hasn't heard anything yet. He is down to do L3 Pro Cookery. I've asked Steve but he still hasn't appeared on his list yet?

I was hoping for more like 4,343 rpm tbh.

that would be over revving so you wouldn't get your warranty - the engine is rated to 4000rpm but using the T5 Pitch impeller on the Hamilton Waterjet would see us at 3,966RPM at 1.256:1 Gearbox ratio
For note, the 1.514:1 gearbox would over rev the engine to 4749rpm which would be way too high
The ideal is 1.27:1 to match the T5 coarser blade or 1.20:1 to match the T4 Finer blade impeller
