Fair bit here since this morning don't think it's all settling though because it's like a heavy blizzard but not THAT much on the ground really

Most people that have driven both front and rear wheel drive cars in the snow generally say that because out of the 2, it's true, maybe you just need to brush up on your snow driving skillz

Just looked out of my window to see a bell end in Merc failing at getting up the road just opposite my house (very slight incline) due to not having a clue Slid into the kerb, almost slid into the road name sign on the opposite side of the road, I was having concerns about my Dad's and Brother's cars which were parked behind him, yet I managed to drive up there last night in the MR2 without issue. Some people really should have their licenses revoked for incompetence like that

Just to prove the point about the FWD vs. RWD thing, my Dad's just opted to go to work in my Mum's Corsa after his 7 series needed some persistence to become unstuck twice on his way home last night

found last year your ok in rwd as long as you keep moving, once you stop its very difficult to get going again, escpecially up hills

plus traction control does not help you, slows you down and gets you stuck if anything else

When I went out last night, the only time I changed out of 2nd was when I was parking up again and I put it in reverse. Second gear and pumping the clutch when pulling away has seen me right through my snowy experiences
