If i got a brand new car i think id leave my plate off for 6/12 months, show off its new

Got a Animal pick up thing at work at the moment, on a private plate **04***, its actually a 59 plate, never understand why people do that, made it look 5 years older than it actually is?

my mums 207 says its an 03 when its actually a 10 plate. but you would be a moron if you thought it was built in 2003. . . as they weren't out then!
but yeah id show it off for 6months then plate it up

I've got a personal plate but I've put it on retention as I'm going to wait till at least the next reg comes out in March before I put it on. Might even leave it till September. Quite like the FUD plate

I would of put my small plate on the front but they screwed the numberplate on at the edges despite me asking them to just stick it on. So that's probably a no go now

Yeah you will see it round Kendal, give me a wave if you do. I'm through here 5 days a week for work. Just been through the Booths multi-storey car park on the way in to work... windows down 1st gear bouncing off the walls

Yes, Ive already been there and done the JCW when I was 19. I'd feel a bit silly now, you sum it up in your second quote.

Nope wasn't cheap at all. It's only money and you can't take it with you.

It had it's head kicked in yesterday once the oil got warm and it's still averaging over 30 mpg Not pussying about running it in gently, it's getting driven hard and it loves it!

I'd already thought about both those colours Ben will get a photoshop done at some point to see what I think. You can buy black surrounds for the front and rear lights but never seen red ones.

Obviously yours is turbo, but what is the difference between the supercharged Cooper-S and the JCW?

On the older shape like you are getting? I think they have a different charger pulley, different exhaust, different engine map, the internals are different, its not just a remap. Presumably bigger brakes too. You'd be better getting that answer from Rich H as I can only speak for the newer shape ones and thats what I've listed above apart from obviously its a different turbo the case of the R56 JCW.

Mine has 4 pot brake calipers Dont think I can get my finger between the caliper and the wheel

Very nice, my sister has one. Nice cars and shift along pretty quick.

Interior looks spot on as well, red pipe and trims help break it all up.

Ye Lloyds Dan.

Go for it Stuart. They do shift, people don't expect it, they usually think "it's only a Mini" I quite like that about it, people underestimate it. Its pretty quick till 4k but then it really comes on song and the turbo and exhaust go mental. Takes people by surprise when they see and hear it. The noise is really addictive, even when I'm driving slowly in traffic I can hear it popping when I back off the throttle in 1st gear Taken to driving with the windows down and have the heated seats on to keep warm Sad or what
