The pics I have found are tiny so here's a link.
This:
http://www.reelex.com/Machines/D-2000.html
Which is attached to:
http://www.google.co.uk/m/search?site=images&source=mog&gl=uk&q=cable%20jacket%20extruder#i=2
Which is joined to the box machine by a big trough but can't find pics May take some tomorrow.

I don't do VF in the HES mate, someone else does those. I do loads of stuff really, VAs, refractions, low vision assessments, complex contact lens fittings,
post-op cataract clinics and I work along side a couple of the Consultants regarding ARMD and lucentis injections etc...quite interesting really.
I'm BSc(Hons), MCOptom

so you are a locum then? not really much different to a specsavers optometrist you just work in smaller places that possibly take more care, its a very interesting job

No, I'm not a locum, I'm employed fully between the three places.
The fact that you said 'you just work in a smaller place that possibly
takes more care' sums up exactly what I meant by "not the 'SpecSavers' type"
Surely wherever you go to have your eyes tested should give you the same level of care
regarding your eyes?
