id just have a 1.6 mk5 zetec-s tbh, or a puma, the differences would be minimal, not a worthwhile conversion imo

unless you stick the racing puma gubbins on to make it 150bhp

I guess, my standard made 122bhp in the RR lottery.

Just think the VCT would give it a little more kick. You're right, a racing puma version would be best.

My friend still runs a turbo converted 1.6

to get the extra 30bhp you need 1 standard 1.7 puma engine, racing puma inlet, cams, ecu remap, and exhaust

It is a bit odd. It'll be a V/Straight 6 surely? 16 valves per cylinder is excessive.
