Try taking the memory card out - that fixed my C7 when that started going mental. I literally took the card out of my old phone and put it into the new one and it didn't like it do it used up all the battery and kept crashing. Took the card out and it was fine so formatted the card and put it back in and now all is hunky dorey

It did actually come with pedals, it's just it was dispatched without them fitted, they're nothing special mind, I'll have to invest in clipless ones soon.
