Car insurance renewed HAD to pay my renewal price otherwise I'd have to up my excess from £350 to £790.
Still, £542 to insure the Alfa for a year with drive any other car at 22 aint baddd

Presumably that company is just for IAM Elite members. I paid £530 this year but don't get other cars
Here's a question about the use of other cars thing: What are the rules on that? I.e. does it have to be currently registered and/or insured in someone else's name or what?

Yeah, not normally for under 25's. Bloody handy I can just jump in my sisters car though.
Car can't be in my or my partners (no worries there then) name and has to be insured on it's own policy.

not sure mate. done an online quote with the same company (elephant/admiral) and it came in at £719. i have 2 non fault accidents to my name but the £862 quote only had 1 of them on. then £719 had both on. weird.
just money grabbing sods tbh.
