Not bad MPG for a 5.0 V10 really, my dad only getting about 26MPG out of his 2.7TDI range rover.

I put about 25pound in my octavia a week atm get about 180miles all town driving.

When you consider my lorry does 16 and can't tow a plane, it actually begins to look quite good.

How the fuck can you afford that!

I do 350 miles a week average in the mito I fill up once every 9-10 days or so. £100 a week would see my spending £500 a month on go juice once I've tickled a bit in the Mazda and Mums/Ellens car.

crazy the amount people use and are willing to spend on fuel

Jambo I would be gutted to be putting £107 in car that gets me 300 miles

New van is still running in after just over 4k miles, but £60 gets around 380 - 400 to a tank. Depends very much on the type of roads I'm driving on though - if I have a week of local jobs which to get to are all on country or A roads, I am lucky to see 350 to a tank.

Mini - £55 gets me £250 miles if I'm lucky. V Power or Tesco Momentum. Despite being 4p cheaper and higher octane, the Momentum seems to lose about 30 miles to a tank.

Fueling my Imprezas used to do my tits in and that was when fuel was cheaper, screw it these days. The wank 26mpg I get in the Audi is bad enough.

Agreed

I'd rather spend less money on fuel and more on a car and other things. I guess everyone is different though.

£70 of V-Power gets me 400 miles in mine. The R56 Turbo engine is a lot better than the old supercharged one on fuel.

Rich does your right foot have uncontrollable outbursts?

Averaging 38mpg atm so should see 300 out of a tank (£50-60) thats with a very small amount of playing though.

Will brim it tonight ready for my burnley run tomorrow and see how many i can get back down to the red without being a grandad.

Mine was £82 last night but did run the tank right down as I put in 59.5 litres into a 61 litre tank

That will get me around 750 to 780 depending on conditions

Most I have ever had is 805 miles

38mpg is better than mine. Doesn't sound right for the miles you are getting with the amount of fuel you put in Fro...

based on 1.35 a litre 38mpg should see you at around 370 miles

Think its lying to me tbh i based the miles on the current mpg, will work it back the other way when back from the northern realm and have a full tank milage fig.

Have been quite frugal with my driving the past week though, call me grandad.

Up until recently, when I got in the Mini, it got driven how I felt like driving at that precise moment - it's the toy!

Now I'm using it a lot more to go and see the G/F so in general do drive it a lot more carefully. Took it to Longleat and back the other day 200 mile round trip, and I had 1/4 tank left That was sat at 80 on cruise most the way!

Wales I got 120 miles to 1/4 a tank sat at 70 on cruise, but then after that it just dropped like a stone, think I got 310 miles to a tank.

Admittedly though I don't drive it with economy in mind most the time - it's my toy! I know they're pretty shocking on fuel for a 1.6 though

More distrubing is the fact you paid £1.57.9 for vpower derv (which is utterly pointless btw)(

People in performance cars shouldn't worry about MPG. Leave that to those with Boras & Passats etc
