I've fitted the FY-20A to the EDF and re-fitted the wings so I can test the aileron stabilisation and it works a treat!! Just waiting for my new elevator relay and she should be getting a test flight. Going to try a 2.2amp 3 cell li-po battery first

....I nearly killed the fan lastnight too, I did a little 'up-right test' but I left one of the servo leads hanging out of the side of the plane: at full chat it sucked the lead through the fan spitting bits of plastic and wire every where oopsy!

Well I flew it for the first time last night in what can only be described as gale force winds.
All I can say is the FY-20A is an AMAZING piece of kit!! Its fool proof! The only down side is in stabilisation mode you cant bank very hard and I did end up landing on a workshop roof but when the wind blew it off the roof the FY-20A kept it on its belly!!
Highly recommend little box

I've only flewn mine a few times with a "pro" attached to my transmitter...too scared to fly it as its expensive with a small engine.
Attach a keyring cam on it

I had one flight with my mate on a buddy-wire using his WOT4, then I practiced with my Sukhoi (only £40 bind-and-fly so not the end of the world if I smash it).. Then just went to town on the Jet.. Its been a learning curve and its got some bruises
I do how ever have the stabiliser/autopilot system installed so its almost as good as having someone on a buddy line

Its an 11 year old EDF based on a 60 year old plane design (Lockheed T-33 shootingstar).

You dont have to be a member of a club but BMFA insurance is always recommended if you are flying in parks. Not even £30 for the year IIRC.

F16 is a bit too twitch for my 'skill level' lol so I bought a Multiplex Twister instead

Its much bigger than the F16, similar dimensions to the T33 but it dead-sticks lovely! Had its maiden flight(s) today.
