Just been reading that myself. Sucks for the guy but I'm glad there doesn't seem to be any English involved as it just adds to the trouble next time they play.

I'd like him to get it. It'd never be boring thats for sure. The last few England managers have been extremely dull.

Redknapp would only be good if Spain and Brazil had started accepting brown paper bags in exchange for changing the nationality on players passports.

i dont get it really, not many people can deny there werent flashes where england looked great, flair, possesion, switching of play, and pulling wales around brilliantly, when displayed it looks like they could compete with even some of the big names. The problem is they cant maintain it, and i cant understand why.

Its almost like they get tired after 10 mins of playing like it, but i cant see its that. Or complacency or what

Always thought it would be tight last night .... we were playing against 11 premiership/championship players, couldnt see them making it easy for England to play football, especially as all of our players were on 75% effort so they are fit for the premiership at the weekend....After watching the game last night a few things were pretty obvious

1. Rooney was the best player on the pitch(as he has been every time I have seen him on a football pitch) and if we had 10 rooneys + Joe Hart it would be the best england team of all time

2. Milner isnt good enough

3. Downing only ever wants to do the most simple thing thats on

3. Micah Richards will walk back in that side at right back ahead of smalling - smallings distribution is poor

4. Wembley is a highly average stadium with a fucking terrible atmosphere.... It looks more like an airport than a stadium till you get inside. £9.50 for a burger and chips and £55 a ticket is not going to draw in the kind of fans who want to get an atmosphere going.... The view is great - but the three times I have been there it has left me dissapointed ... it just doesnt feel special - it feels like you are bending over and getting raped by the FA

5. Capello was quite clever in making a massive fuss over Bale and saying we had a plan for him pregame .... Gary Speed must have been listening as he started him on the right wing ..where he was invisible

People saying Wales dominated though, and deserved a draw...seriously? Wales were awful - Englnad put a side out to make sure they won the game, Wales were clueless - yes they passed it side to side and backwards but apart from the Earnshaw chance they created nothing
