Its amazing to think how that car started off (being a detailing whoares car) and now is an absolute weapon.

Mark must harm himself given the money/time that went into cleaning, audio, dynamat etc, and we ripped it all out. It's still kept very clean though, Garry is into his detailing aswell, but it's a beast

Not sure, 450bhp maybe more, the ABS cuts in on the rollers, the car goes crazy

If you look in my thread there's a video of me behind him, other then that he's got to edit his Go Pro footage from the day, or rather I'll end up doing it!

Yeah mate hopefully he can get instruction at our next trackday as he's never had any, I hope he can get some before he takes the turbo kit off and see if he's happier with the power if he can maybe be a bit smoother through the bends

The AD08's don't whine, don't sound any different to road tyres
R888's whine loud though. And it is annoying

They are decent tyres, one of the best in that range, great wear vs grip ratio. Mine did 4 trackdays and barely look worn when I sold them to Garry (this VXR owner)

Garry passed away on Saturday :-( he was a passenger in a car accident and has been in Intensive Care for a week
Can't really put into words how much I miss him already and what a great guy he was. He had a fantastic Fiancée who they had just come back from Cyprus 12 hours before the accident after booking their wedding, with their almost 10 month little boy who I am fortunate to have been chosen as Godfather 4 months ago. Garry had so much to look forwards too its just all so wrong it shouldn't happen this way
He battled hard for a long 7 days in a battle in which he defied doctors every step of the way until the very end. I won't go into the details of the accident or his injuries due to his Fiancée & family wishes but it was the ending none of us wanted
I'm thankful we were close friends and have attended trackdays regularly for a couple of years now, we were booked onto DN6 at Nurburgring in 2 weeks time which we've both been looking forwards too all year, so I'm truly gutted I've lost my Trackday buddy too.
One of many funny times together (Garry on the left!)
RIP Garry, my best friend
