Im sorry but im having a hard time believing this story due to the fact that the internet clearly states that your gearbox would hve fallen out before reaching the top of the hill.

M3 gets to speed effortlessly & without much drama, there not meant to be rip your tits off fast if but should decimate any hot hatch!!!

My E46 M3 was faster than my RS, thats a fact, just the RS makes more of a scene getting there so probably seems more up for it while the M3 just sounds like an angry man & does its job.

Id go for the SMG over the manual in future. Its a different way of driving and getting used to it, but once you do its fantastic

Sorry any standard hot hatch, RS500 has Mountune parts bolted on to make it faster.

If talking tuned cars (& im not a ///M fan boi, just like them!!) then why not compare it to a turbo'd M3 for a fairer outcome!?

Naturally talking about a 400bhp Corsa against one isn't a fair comparison But surely the RS wasn't that far behind?

I pulled up behind my old M a few months ago & had a go against it, in the rain & got left for dead tramping all over the carriageway!!!

Rolling start in the dry might have been more even but that was my experience!!

I got left feeling numb

I'd expect that sort of outcome with the amount of torque going through the front wheels in the wet though

rolling starts are where it's at in high powered FWD cars. traffic light grand prix's aren't worth the hassle and 10 quid of rubber your tyres leave behind.

Yeah man glad you are not blinded by that fact Starlets are quick as fuck though!

This thing is just silly. 850kg's + 330bhp means no traction until late 4th But even wheel spinning it utterly battered an Evo VII GSR from 80-170

we need vids of this starlet

tbh i've gone against 3-4 E46 M3's now, 2 of them i was level or pulling and the other 2 they slightly edged me, but by no means did they eat me

put them on a track and it's a different story though.
