I don't mean you and I necessarily, I mean what more could you teach people en mass.
Obviously you could teach Suarez to have more sense, probably remind Diane Abbott that she'll be quoted, few other examples I'm sure, but we're talking more general than that are we?
Like what could you tell the public at large that they don't already know?

Well I mean from an early age, some children have bad parents who openly support racism, some will have bad experiences at school for example where a person of X colour has beaten them up, to which they then have this mind set that all people of X colour are like that.
People just listen to word of mouth for a lot of things and also jump on the band wagon without even bothering to go find out for themselves.
I don't think you could teach the general public, it's a mind set, way of thinking for some people, it's how they have been brought up and that's normal to them.
I'm personally not offended by what Diane Abbott said, just think it's incredibly stupid but the fact she walked off half in a interview when asked to explain what she meant by it doesn't help her image, phone calls more important then telling the public what she really meant, not good for someone who's meant to be "for the people"

The problem I find with Rascism is the fact it seems to be a culture difference rather than a physical colour of the skin that causes issues.

I'm not racist, nothing against black people, its not really their fault they are black, just the way they are born

I Agree with this actually, you dont see the chinese getting offended when people generalise about their high mathematical skills and take the piss because they have slightly different shaped eyes, just like white people didnt moan when we were generalised as 'Honkeys'
Or am i missing the point?

Most 'black' people I have met/known do not give a shit about general comments, neither do white/chinese/asians etc.
It all gets 'racist' when someone is a twat and decides anything someone says that contains a colour and a person in the same sentence is racist.
I do not think she is being racist.
I do not think Alan Hansen was being racist, all it is is people taking their own view of racism and making things other people say seem racist.
If this woman or Alan had said 'Typical nigger' or 'Stupid white people' then yes, it may be racist.
