all the times my car has ever ran, which is a road legal car, aren't done in road legal format. therefore they're all null and void. also the power it makes is with the bonnet open, which isn't road legal either which means that doesn't count. damn you internet people.

what exactly is your issue with this thread though? its a time set by a car that legally can be driven on the road. thats all it is. everyone is kicking off for nothing.

0-220mph in 6.59 seconds is fuckin immense. thats my opinion.

It can't though - that car in that specific spec which recorded the time, cannot be driven on the road. That is the point that people are making.

Impressive time though.

It's a ridiculous time considering you could go drive it down the m6.

no matter how good something is or how much work someone has put into achieving something remarkable there is also someone who is negative.

OK, you cant technically drive it off the dragstrip after a run on the road , however the power of the engine and its capability still exist and it can be driven on the road (whether that be at 5mph or not) it can still go on the road.

Its impressive but that's not the time it would achieve if actually road legal, id like to see what it could do though

Im with Nic Barnes on this 1.

Regardless of what trim its in for the drag strip etc, the car still has tax, mot, and insurance. Therefor, the car itself, is road legal.

Dosn't matter if you can't drive it on the road straight off the strip. But that isn't the point of it. The point is it has the relevant documents for it to be driven on the road legally.

At any point in this thread has anyone actually argued that it can be driven on the road in full blown race spec?

Didn't think so.

Clearly. Fastest time set by a car that is road legal. Which it is. Stop being an internet/cunt.
