They are brilliant fun, probably the last of the proper hot hatches. Very tempted to get another myself, should never have got rid of mine.

Picked it up saturday morning in the floods, first car I've owned thats been half decent power up front, it likes to spin when down shifting which is quite cool

Body work isn't 100%, few scrapes and minor scratches but then i new id be getting something with wear for my money, overall its not to bad though, Wheels could do with a refurb.

MY52, 58K, FSH, Full Longlife System, Manifold and Some ECU thing.






It does put a smile on my face when driving it

Drove it 80 miles home and got 41.3MPG which is pretty damm good.

Guys, If i for some stupid reason I wanted to lower it by 30mm what would I be looking at? eibach springs? would this effect the handling? are the stock springs of a better quality?

Eibach or H&R are generally recommended. I never lowered mine, found it perfectly compromised in standard form.
