Excellent transformation mate, only thing I'm not fussed on is the skirts as they look lower than rest of car apart from that its class.

Thanks! They're standard skirts and that's just how they fit. They look worse without them really

So in my time off i've been very bored. And when i'm bored my mind wanders.... Started thinking about getting round to painting the centres of the wheels, but before i did i got a mate to Photoshop some colours onto the wheels.

Like i said, my mind wanders

Thanks! Certainly paid for it the following day though!

I'm not really interested in doing them black. Might do them Anthracite but leaning towards doing them White or Orange (as close as possible the the indicators).

I like the purple, but if keeping the orange indicators orange would look good.

Yeah keeping the orange indicators. I do like the the purple but I'd have to get smoked/clear indicators and side repeaters which I've just sold!

Yes mate it was me if it was around 12pm/2pm. Been to battle people at the White Rose centre.

Two or three weeks back I was told that a set of 18" BBS LM reps were for sale locally. Got in contact with the seller and after finishing work at 10pm I shot over to pay and collect. The wheels are mint and shod with 215/40's on the 8's and 225/40's on the 9's.

The new wheels:

Took the rear and front wheels off the drivers side and compared them to the 18's. Gonna be monster truck stance judging by these pics...

9's against the Z3M's

8's against the Z3M's

So after thinking this could be the wrong route to go down I decided to try them on anyway.

And the result is disappointment The just don't sit right and even after spacers and different tyres I still don't think they well look right! Think this is down to the arches being flared. If the the arches were standard then I think they could work. But at least its settled my thoughts on running 18's. So i sold them for much cheapness and the Z3M's kept for a while longer.

After selling the LM Reps, a week later i was picking up another set of 18's, this time Style 32's in 8" and 8.5" widths with massive offsets of 47 and 50 respectively and 215/35's all round. Spacers were in order so found a pair of 25mm hubcentric's for sale on here that Djsimmy was selling.

Spacers and the wheels:

Chucked the spacers on and the wheels. Set the front up with no camber at all and the rear with full camber on standard arms. Rolled the car out of the driveway to get a decent look.

Front fitment is nearly there. Could do with a set some 205/40 or 205/35's on then run some wider spacers. With the rear arches being flared quite a lot to get the Z3M's on the rear Style 32's could do with much bigger spacers than the 25mm ones used at the moment. So, i doubled em up making the spacer 50mm in total and re-fit the rear wheel.

Doubled up fitment is slightly too wide so for the rears i'm going to need 40mm spacers and 30mm for the front. But they are winter's so i guess it doesn't matter too much, but i do like my car to look good year round!

I had those LM reps for sale an hour before they were sold! I should have pushed for more money out of em! Do you still have any of your black one left?

Anyway, i noticed one of the 8.5 rear's kept going flat while they were sat in the garage. Took it off to see if i could hear it loosing air. Found three cracks in the inside rim!

But luckily i was offered a pair 9's on Edition 38 and they were local so collected them on my way to work last night. Got the tyres swapped over then test fitted them

The offset on these is et22 so a 10mm spacer should bring it somewhere near how the Z3M's sit which are et8
