On a serious ntoe Chloe I would still go Tomorrow. Surley working in the kennels you will be exposed to hazards like this on a daily basis? You need to demonstrate your ability to suck up the pain tbh.

The dogs in the kennels may not be blood hungry wolves though.

It was being rehomed from the rescue, the owners had just come to pick it up when it lunged at me for no reason at all, the new owners saw it all but still took the dog, I will be contacting the police when I get home, already spoke to a copper I spotted in the hospital an he has given me a number to call to speak to a copper involved with dangerous dogs, he was also talking seeking legal advice as the rescue need to have a policy in place for this type of thing, a cant work for months now, I can't even feed myself, it's awful, you don't know have much you need your hands until you loose them

Surely you accepted the job knowing the risks? And now you want to claim?

What about the attack from your own dog?

Surely your dog is a dangerous animal too?

So if the dog has a valid reason it's ok to bite you?

Maybe it had kidney stones and was in pain?
Maybe it didn't like your scent?

It didn't attack the new owners, so there must of been a reason it attacked you. Probably one you can't see or ever find out and maybe to do with smell.

Also, like it or not your dog attacked you too.
It had no idea you were helping it, they're not intelligent enough to know that.
It probably saw you as a threat and was protecting itself thinking it would help stop the pain.

No matter the risk of the job, I'd still claim for any type of work injury. I imagine most people would do the same.
