So just checked and for the local election they have put me down as the area round the corner to where I live, which is now predominantly student housing. As a result half the candidates are students wanting to improve the area for the students and university

Yeah, I'm considering only voting in the main election now.

Although there is a UKIP candidate who is a lecturer at the Uni who seems to speak sense. Shame he stands for a load of racists!

This is what I have been saying. A lot of UKIP's policies are quite good, but you are in the end voting for a bunch of racists.

They're hardly going to have openly racist policies are they? That's not to say their members aren't pretty questionable at times though.

I thought Farage would do well in the tv debate but Leanne Wood ripped him and his only line was immigration, he ended up a stuck record but at least he didn't do Ed Millibands weird wide eyed, stare straight at the camera bit. Honestly amazes me that he could end up running one of the worlds superpowers.

Milliband came across terribly on Radio 1 tonight, even 17/18 year olds ripped his policies and back peddalling to pieces.

I don't think Miliband had a good night last night!

Did anyone see the Farage programme later on? I won't be voting UKIP but you can't question that Farage is a bloody good speaker and can't be caught out!

Labour have done the same in the past, most parties have tbh, so it's a non-story

Tbf it's got to be better than a leader of a party siding up with an absolute circle-jerk like Russell Brand

This is exactly why im voting conservatives too. They are not perfect but my life has started to get more comfortable because of what they have done. With another term it might just put us in a better position.

Im voting UKIP, purely because my town is over run with immigrants who are/have destroyed the town.

My step dad is also the chairman for UKIP where I live, so he has spoken about their policies and hes a decent/genuine bloke who has been into politics for donkeys years., so ill take his word that they are best for my town
