Just under £17 for dinner out, and proper milkshakes I don't think is bad at all.
Not sure where you could eat out with a milkshake for less than that. Decent milkshake is £4/£5 alone
I guess it depends on how you look at it. I would have said it was good fast food which in turn i didn't think it was great value. Was somewhere to have a quick meeting you with one of our clients for lunch.
In turn, espically darn sarf, and your heading out for a meal and that's how you percieve it, it is cheap.

Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't say to the Mrs "let's go or for a meal" then go there.
However, if we were or shopping and it got to around 6pm, and we hadn't eaten I'd go there and not have anything when home, therefore making it my dinner.

Are they crispy bhaji's or the soggy ones you chuck in the microwave that taste like sewage?

The what in America? Burgers in general? Or five guys ones?
Burgers in general are so so much better in America, however I tried McDonald's big Mac whilst there, and it was nothing but dissapointing

Its all subjective, if your idea of 'better' food means bigger and more full of fat and salt then yes food is better in the states
