It cant be bad saving some money as there are always other things to spend it on.

If you havent got the money to hand now to blow on it then even better, as you save the money up you put some away for the conversion and then spend the other money uprating the brakes, sorting the suspension and buying the other bits and bobs you want.

seems to me that Lee can fit the engines very well. now if the engine you supply is shit then it is not going ot last or if you drive lik AK then it's not going to last. Lee fits them. you either do a good job or you fit it wrong.

You ask for people's comments and opinions yet you can't handle it when they speak their minds.

my 'little' dog would bite your arm off.

and also GTF with your interfering. also I would like to point out that I have actually driven a crossvaux car for a considerable length of time. I was not commenting on the quality of work from them. I suggest you actually read my replys in future before mouthing off crap.

I'm so fed up with hearing that we are expensive! Kris TD 288mm discs come from late calibra turbos and vectra v6, 284mm discs come from cav and calibra turbos. as for Adams engine PVD supplied a cav gsi and charged Adam around £800 . the car was bought damaged for £400 so our solictors will be in touch with you for that comment pending your withdrawl of that comment. We know who Lee Mitchell is and have seen his work and is as far as i can see very good. when a customer wants a conversion we taylor it to what they ask for , but if they want 3.5k worth of parts it makes the conversion look expensive. our engines we supply for £700 have covered no more than 60k we can supply higher millage engines for less money but when a customer asks for low miles what can we do. as for puting new oil pumps and water pumps on the engine this is because while we have the engine in bits putting arp rod bolts sump gaskets and cam belt and rollers we may as well put the other parts in while we are there. Sorry we tried to save money on labour for customers . if we new people felt so strongly about this we would not of offered it

Andy Morley - Why don't you source all the parts yourself and then get CossVaux or someone like that to fit them for you? I'm sure you could get them a hell of a lot cheaper than what they've quoted you?

Adam is not to blame for his engine being worn out if only we could write the truth without looking like we are causing trouble

All I have to say is that if you spend £4,500 on an M Reg Corsa then come time to sell your not going to see much return on investment.

If you think that you will have £4,500 worth of satisfaction out of the upgrade then go for it, but personally I'd rather put the money towards a better car if it was me.

Mav talks sense.

Sell the Corsa and go and by a 106 Rallye, stick some throttle bodies on it.

Much more satisfaction.
