Schneiderlin won't get goals, but he can tackle and pass the ball. But where will AW fit all these players in? I'm guessing this is in place of Khedira, but I bet he won't cost much less.

Difference is a release clause, but borini nearly scores as many goals as him from the wing last season..

Never the less good business - hes no saurez though, seems your setting your sights firmly on 5th

There are only two other players on the
planet currently playing at Suarez's level, Ronaldo & Messi.

Not exactly replaceable.

Bale is doing excellent for RM, and looks like he'll only get better.

Doesn't matter who Liverpool sign, there are no players available to replace Suarez.

With that in mind, I reckon Remy for £8.5 million is a superb signing. Proven goalscorer in the EPL and someone that would get many more goals in a better side.

They aren't playing at Suarez's level, he's played close to theirs

invest now to reap the benefits in 2 years of moving to the Olympic stadium, absolutely the right thing to do IMO but can Allardyce work in such a fashion

Liverpool don't really need to replace Suarez's goals as without him, you still scored+60ish goals. Remy will score enough to help out and a Sterling/Coutinho etc. can step up a bit on the creative front but what you need to do is fix that bloody leaky defence Lovren alone is not the answer

very interested to watch developments on reports linking us with Willy Carvalho... have to admit to not knowing too much about him as sounded like a good young prospect who was nailed on going to Utd for an astronomical fee but sounds like they'll accept quite a bit less so long as its upfront as they only own 60% of the player.

Sounds like Ospina will sign this week (hopefully Thursday so we can turn Sp*rsday into new signing day ) Very solid acquisition, along with Debuchy. More of the same for Vermaelen's replacement and let's find a top DM and then we're set ont he buying front IMO and can concentrate on the outs. Interested to see whether AW will stick to his guns re. the kids ie keeping them around the first team is better experience than a loan as we have so many 'decent' kids who are now 20+ and its really now or never IMO

88 Million euros for James Rodriguez? Football has gone absolutely mental. Very good young player, but 88 million euros? Come off it.

I think Rooney thinks he is in with a chance of the captaincy going by his need to impress the manager comments.

Still think it is odd that he signed an extension if he was looking to leave.
