D'oh. Hope you have a speedy recovery.

I attempted to ride yesterday morning feeling really ill. I wasnt going to go but reminded myself I was a man and went.

I was hopeless but 35 slow miles is better than nothing.... right?

Good on you for getting out there!

Been up hospital all morning, they were contemplating surgery then decided to cast it up and see how it goes on.

Not the best pic, to think I got up and pushed my bike half a mile back up the steep hill, drove an hour home, hosed it of, got changed then thought...better go get this checked out

Garmin edge 200 or the 500 the 200 is £99 in halfords at the mo but the 500 is£149 in Evans

I have the 200. Literally all I need from it is track my ride nothing more or less, don't need heart rate or cadence.

Good bit of kit either way.

Yep.

Time, distance, elevation, track, speed, average speed etc etc. just not maps basically.

I have used the maps a few times on my 500. Still got lost every time.

Thought e 200 did routes as well as it says you can obviously not like sat nav with rds

Yeah it can. You download a gpx file to it of a route. But the actual base mapping/base map is shite and has no detail unless you buy a better base map for lots of dough. My Garmin Dakota 20 is the same.
