so my carpet was getting to be alittle bit more grey than black... so I took it out and got myself some dye for it
So i started off in work with a spare 5 mins so stripped my interior carpet out (ive done this about 20 times during the building of this car so i can do it with my eyes closed )
Hard to tell but before and after

Gave it a bloody good hoover out as it was filthy
Then went mad with the cans of dye
50/50 just for Detailing World

And After one coat

2 Coats

3rd coat is currently drying so will update with pics when its done
Whilste drying it goes very patchey... but once its dried it evens out brilliantly
going to repaint some plastics this weekend aswell as a couple bits have gone abit scatty

Aids is bad ill agree there but is it as bad as windy windows?
I've not looked into how hard or easy it is to do to be honest lee. Think you've got to change the door loom?

Thanks chris!!!
been busy over that past couple of days buying bits and bobs
New ecotec pipe of Vaux

because my other one had done this

new air filter because... well because it was manky

re routed the throttle cable

brand new CTS of Vaux

noticed my crank shaft sensor wire was worn through

new one bought

air box bits were catching on cam belt cover

so cut them off

holes drilled under the airbox in the inner wing to run the crank sensor

back together

Looks good mate, only thing I'd do is get the bottles as mentioned and a battery bag

I really don't like battery bags. Not sure why just have never liked them. The battery is going in the boot when the engine comes back out so that's alright and the bottles are going to have to be moved anyways when the bulkhead gets cut out. So I will replace them then
