Corsa made 205bhp and 150lbft today at AMD
Was mapped at 196bhp and 149lbft on Shell optimax
Today only things have changed are one degree retarted on inlet cam and tesco 99 ron fuel

Seems to make more power but lost some low down torque BUT holds the torque for longer in higher revs when before it dropped off

Looking good I may be in touch as it looks like you have done a good job of fitting the cooler as I am thinking of buying a mocal oil cooler for mine and a baffled sump to make it 100% track safe.
Whats the quality like on it as I am torn between this and CPL's own one

cpls’ one looks like a cheap copy of a mocal tbh, mocal are really good, they do a ’setrab’ range that are heavier duty but you wont need that, i’d just buy the bits from think automitive

thats the heavy duty setrab one i mentioned in my first post and a thermostatic take off too, which also looks to be their high flow one which costs more, hence its more than 168, but i think you could still beat that price going to think automotive direct, as they manufatcure mocal and the mocal/setrab rads
as for the benefits, only one, controls oil temp, on a rack car its essential imo, as if your oil goes past 130 degrees it wont be doing its job very well and tends to lead to premature engine failures

Would you say 110degrees is ok Lee? That's what mine gets too and so far hasn't gone past it. I thought that was high but apparently it's ok, cause I was thinking of getting an oil cooler.

Oil cooler will open at 80-90c so will be cooling it down for quite some time at 110c. 110c is fine though, mates standard M3 was showing 130c on track yesterday and I was showing 147c. I'd love to be running at 110c but a oil cooler is cheap and it's nice to have!

Mine has a thermostatic sandwich plate too and looks identical to that. Even with my cooler I'm hitting 147c on track though.

147? then you will be changing your oil every track day as it will split into its constituent parts, time for a re think if that really is the case
