Chelsea (or Arsenal if you listen to my local radio station!) have turned down a bid for Lampard, but the first offer was rumoured to be £6.5M so it's hardly surprising.
Still think he'll join Inter though, maybe not now, but possibly in January when he can buy out his own contract or next summer when he can leave for free.

Crouch has passed a medical and agreed personal terms - £11m coming our way for him

Signed some young Hungarian on loan for a season to see what he can do.

Rafa has come out and said Villa is one of the players on the list to replace Crouch

Yeah seems we've signed a good few youngsters already which is good to see again. No idea what this Saric is like but was being chased by some big names (and Spurs) so cant be all bad.

And yeah, if only he was actually going to stay though

I would be tickled if we dropped our interest in barry but it's gone too far now and I think we are sort of obliged to buy him so yeah alonso will be on his way most likely unless barry plays left wing for a season?

If I was Rafa I'd walk away from the Barry deal for a few weeks, and leave Villa with the prospect of having to keep their captain who doesnt want to play for them - they'll soon lower the price.
