why have u not used chassis strengthening plates and are you going to use a whiteline rear arb?

yes will get whiteline arb, using 2 gsi arbs for time being though.

they dont have to have chassis strengthtening. know quite a few that havent used it

wont do any harm, there just not needed on a corsa like they are on a nova

my top tip for future reference is, anyone that tells you that you dont need chasis strengthening plates needs to be ignored. on an xe, fair enough. you have to think of the added torque going through the shell. not to use them, especially when car has been stripped down is rediculous.

who has told you that you dont need them?

mine has done about 30 - 40k let'd and doesnt have them ... not saying its not about to fall apart like but was ok when i last looked

a mate said to me that i wouldnt need them as the engine isnt that powerful that im fitting???
so i didnt fit them.
for id just listern to someone else thats done it as im pretty much a novice to engine conversions

if your mates have said its fine then it probably is. personally when putting more torque and power into a shell that is only designed to take 110bhp or whatever, id want it stronger to make sure.

ive done similar mileage and mine does. mine gets abused all the time however as thats what it was made for.

welded them in about 3 years ago now. fir the first year it didnt have any but it was on std power back then.
