I just tried a few ecus I had lying about and used the one that ran best lol. Need to get another one with the same code tho, because this one don't have a rev counter. But it's not bothering me to much so il just wait lol.

yeah i have i bought a green 1.6 sport with head gasket gone, not to sure what todo with it yet tho, been driving about in a little 106 gti runabout, need to pull my finger out and do something with it

Another epic turbo? Last one was very cool

Well not a update really but a bit of a let down to some.

Iv just booked a holiday to California with the lads in may... So progress on this may be slow if any tbh. Lol.

Today I just moved the throttle cable to neaten it up a little in the bay!

Used a new 1.0 Corsa cable from Autovaux

Part number if anyone wants it









Next up after trax I'm going tidy some more wires so there hiden as best as I can for now!

What you mean by this? There is wires that are inside a casing that should never be played with, But then on the other hand there is lots that if you extend/shorten you need to be really careful with resistance.

As for bay tidying, the wiring isnt that bad, The main bit that is good to hide is the loom that runs down the passenger side leg, Can run it lower so its not as obvious or do it like I am and run it in the arch. Also a good one is to move the screen wash bottle into the scuttle like non-aircon cars. Otherwise things I'd do is move the left top hose on the header tank round so its hidden under the header etc. I'd remove the cold air duct and paint the thermostat too probs.

Shuan will tell you how picky I am about that kinda stuff.

I haven't used te car yet to have a nice or jank pedal feel dale, but I have started it and gave it a little blip and it felt like normal. Which is good

Alex, so in the main loom there is wires that are not ment to be touched ect? Was gonna get a spare loom and take my time and if it goes boobs up then can swap it back.

Wires are tidy, but in the future i want to have to whole bay smoothed and wire tucked. So I'm doing some practice/prep lol.

The hoses will be getting moved, same goes for brake vac. I will take a few bits of and get them powdercoated also me thinks
