People in here saying iOS is massively better seriously haven't had an android phone have they, a wildfire doesn't count.

Android isn't a clunky slow OS, on something like the Galaxy S2 it's amazingly fast and smooth.

As I pointed out earlier, Apple think the interface on the Samsung is that close to theirs that they are in court over it so can someone please explain to me what's better about iOS?

The fact it's locked down and you can use it the way Apple decide?

I'm in two minds this morning. Sell my 4 and put £199 in for another sim free one...or just keep my 4.

I'm only interested in Siri which I'm sure will be available on the 4 when iOS5 gets JB but the £200 isn't a massive amount of money.

I loved my desire when it came out, but little things about the OS are annoying me now. Small crashes/bugs. That and the speed of the device in general. Oh and despite me looking after it really well it still seems to be starting to fall apart (the "C" in the HTC lettering on the back fell out yesterday).

Tempted to get a 4 now for the better res screen and faster processing, especially if the prices are coming down.

Although I'd still like to try a WP7 option, but it seems like thats still lagging behind...

Desire is getting on a bit now, Android has definitely matured since that came out.

As for build quality, for a plastic phone it's good, mine is in perfect nick other than a scratch where I've dropped it.

Nowhere near iPhone materials and build quality though.

Google already does loads of it, including a free music storage service, music bit is US only currently though.

I think dropbox are doing extra storage for android users.

Hmm...think I'll hold off. Wait for the iOS5 JB then update my 4 and get Siri running. Job done.

Apple completely forgetting about previous generation users with a feature, that's a surprise.

I'd imagine the vast majority of people will never use siri, and the ones who do want to use it will get annoyed with it not working properly with accents etc

Can't see why it wont work, Google does it really well so no reason apple can't.

Its a crap feature though. Apart from dialing a number or changing tracks, you'll have the phone in your hand anyway.

Using the weather thing that they used as an example, It's just so you don't have to click on the weather app, which is of course far too much effort, you just ask it about the weather instead, so guess it's meant to be time saving and make it easier to get quick answers for things

Depends how varied it is I guess, I mean, could I ask it "Who are crewe playing this weekend" and then it'd automatically search the net and answer for me? - That'd actually be quite impressive

Although people probably won't use it they'll still want it and its the only reason to upgrade from the iPhone 4, hence Apple keeping it specifically to the 4S.

I'm sure it will run fine on the 4, it has done for the past 12 months.

Does it require a button press to start listening to you?

Can ask you android phone that just now and it'll get you an answer from Google.
