From Sky news report
quote: The Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) is investigating the incident, and nothing has yet been officially announced.
Sky's crime correspondent Martin Brunt said: "I am told the officers involved have never claimed they were fired upon.
Exactly, Nothing offical has been announced, its all speculations at this poing.
Also, second point. He has been told by whom that the officers said that. The rioting yardies? The wannabe gangsters family? Hardly accurate infomation. Wait until the report FFS before making up stories.

they said it on sky news last night that both officers never once said they were shot at.
Yeah just been reading up on it
As Shell said though it was justified IMO due to the bloke having a gun. Officer is saying he shot him as he felt he and others were in danger

A policeman spots a nigger dancing on a roof of a Ford car during the Tottenham riots. He radios for backup.
"What's the situation?"big black bastard dancing on a car roof"You can't say that over the radio" replies operator,"You have 2 use politically correct terminology" "OK" he says
"Zulu...Tango....Sierra"

Was in Bristol last night, police seemed to have it reasonably under control though and contained it to the same place we had riots a couple of months ago

Orange. I had full signal half an hour ago, was making and receiving calls fine. Now it's gone completely!

I remember watching Therapy? play in Brixton Academy during the 90s Brixton riots.
The singer said "I've been told there is a riot outside.......let's have one in here!".
Luckily the type of people who go to a rock concert just want to have a good time, so we all just enjoyed ourselves.
By the time the gig had finished so had the riots, so we all got home ok.

I think it will get worse before it gets better. Colleagues from Lincs are deployed in London right now, and do not know when they will be home. I (and other PSU officers) am on standby to go, possibly London, possibly elsewhere in the country. It's that likely, that there is a bag of my overnight kit and food (police canteen food is shit, if there is any ever) packed ready to go. Have warned the wife and boy too - not a nice feeling from our end whatsoever.

I would be terrified as a Copper knowing the public can brandish illegal firearms and if neutralised riots start. Your powerless. Terrifying.

My racist jokes are getting a lot of dislikes today.
It's almost as if hundreds of niggers have all got new laptops or something.

The riots started on sunday, when all the city fans heard there would be no lemons in the London area to stuff in their bitter gobs
