It's far worse. Bent is a proven goal scorer in the PL

Yes and no, he's not as proven by any stretch but he's obviously got more potential and is younger so it's a double edged sword. I'm disgusted by the price just so you know!
He certainly has a lot of potential, there is no question about that.

Reid to Blackpool, looks like the Adam deal is on.

We could be unveilling 70M+ worth* of talent in one go tomorrow

Worth is the value someone's willing to pay apparently....

The Editor: Some shrewd punters got 16/1 with Sky Bet this morning for Andy Carroll to join Liverpool but that was backed down to 1/5. Betting on the striker moving to Anfield has now been suspended.

"£35m for Andy Carroll? More than David Villa, Carlos Tevez, Edin Dzeko and Wayne Rooney? Mad."

It's fucking nuts. At least for the moment it is rumoured

Any idea's on who will replace Carrol if it goes through (Tommy etc)?

Carlton cole? Although you've got a couple of big young lads already haven't you, so maybe Ashley will just pocket it?

Doubt we'd bring anyone in this late
Pardew seems determined to bring in Bothroyd but don't see that happening until the summer

Bad news for Luton, highly regarded as their best player. Although £150,000 isnt too bad i suppose.
