The BBC keep referring to the rioters as 'Youths', I'd say some of them in the pictures are old enough to know better. In fact in nearly all of the pictures the rioters seem of 'ethnic minority' (although anyone here from London will know that minority is quite an ironic label these days), yet if you say anything about that youre immediately racist.

Tbh you have a valid point, but I'm not from Burnley and neither are any of my family. There are some amazingly inbred characters here though

but go 15 mins down M-Way to BBurn and it gets worse

Violence that began on Saturday night in Tottenham, north London, and worsened on Sunday spread across the city last night.

Hackney, Clapton, East Ham, Lewisham, Harlesden, Elephant and Castle and Woolwich were all hit by crowds of rioters who set fire to buildings and vehicles and looted local shops.

Across the capital the Metropolitan Police were stretched with many residents and business owners angry at the perceived lack of response.

When police did attempt to regain control of the streets in Woolwich they were faced down and forced to retreat by an angry mob of looters.

I find it quite offensive they can generalise by age, I don't want to be associated with them. Maybe most of them are 'Youths', but if most of them are black they wouldn't go reporting on 'Blacks running riot in London'.

i seriously hope it does get worse, teach the government and police a lesson for being too soft for too long, theres no deterrent, they know they wont get hit by the police in fear of being sued, and even if they are arrested and charged they'll probably only get a suspended sentence or community service, a small price to pay if you have 35 brand new boxed mobiles at your nans house waiting to go on ebay
