Back to seriousness though and talking about GT...

I'm disapointed by the tuning parts you can buy for your car. In Forza 3 you could really have fun building an interesting car - with a million combinations of parts and paint jobs etc.

In GT5 its pretty dull you just bolt on the next in line of parts like 'Engine tuning stage 1' ... 'engine tuning stage 2'.

and the wheel choice is limited and can't be increased or decreased in size.

Also you can't SLAM the car like in forza 3 ... 25 mm drop max

Yeah it's alright for a bit of fun - I just think Forza 3 has strengths in some areas and GT5 has strength in other areas. Combine the two and it'd be great.

Just Gt5 almost feels like a half arsed game in some points ... like the old cars / old original tracks look as dated graphically as they were in the older games. They didnt even update the textures.

I would cancel as once you get past that part you end up with a load of other bollocks to set up too

im not singing its praises by far steve, i accept t for what it is. but i never got over hyped about it in the first place.

hyped yes.. over hyped no.

paul, turn skin force recovery off if you havent already and turn traction control off aswell

ive just got in now, ive just had to whip the cam cover off my engine to find a valve has dropped and fucked it all up.. thats a brand new £2500 engine gone bang in less than 24 hrs.

are you going to be online tonght paul? and have you got that headset yet?
