Snoozefest! Helped the hangover I'd been nursing all day though.
Good track though, despite the lack of overtaking. Can't believe how badly Vettel drove, worse I've ever seen him I think... am expecting the team to announce a cracked chassis or something.

I'm not sure if I rate that track, stadium section is great for the fans but it's otherwise no masterpiece in its current guise.
Justice was served against Kimi IMO - glad to see Bottas on the podium.
Roll on Interlagos in a couple of weeks.

Not sure I would rate the track really. Yes its nice to look at and good crowd sections but apart from the main straight there is virtually no-where else to overtake and even the main straight showed to not really help due to not being able to follow closely to the car in front.
The baseball section while I appreciate its a crowd point, in terms of racing it doesn't really give you anything. Going in a few cars went off but that will happen less as the tarmac matures and gains more grip. Once into the section its a procession to the start finish line.

It seems Formula 1 as a business is pandering to the lowest common denominator in terms of fans and hence we end up with stadium sections like in Mexico.
I'd rather it was designed such that people appreciate it for the racing and engineering rather than as the big show it has become but, I guess the current arrangement has great financial reward.
I guess one can revert to the likes of BTCC or MotoGP for 'purer' racing if F1 ever becomes too tedious.

F1 is a monster that constantly needs feeding massive amounts of cash to exist, hence why we have so many races on the calendar and in places with no racing heritage but rich backers like Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, China, Singapore etc.
The hype leading up to race day is always massive and you can't help but get caught up in it but more often than not the race itself, and even quali a lot of the time, is an anti-climax. Austin was a great race but even that was more to do with weather.

Tracks can rarely be blamed for lack of spectacle in F1. If the right set of circumstances line up, you can have an epic race at ANY racetrack - or more often than not, a dull one.
As Dave said, we've had a few dull races at Austin - but this years was epic thanks to a bit (lot  ) of rain.
Bahrain last year will become a racing classic - at a track that traditionally gets blasted.
Monaco is boring 90% of the time, but it seems to get forgiven.

Monaco is dull from a racing point of view but it's still a spectacle to watch the cars fly through the tunnel and climb up the hill inches from the walls, watching a procession of cars on a dead flat track with miles of run off in the middle of the desert is just dull all round.

Valencia 2014 stands out as a memorable boring one for me. IIRC all starting cars were classified finishers and it was a procession from lap 1. I am thankful for the buildup when the race is like that.

Not really - when you read into it, it's around IP so can't blame red bull seeking other engines
Now it's been resolved that it's jointly owned
Also interesting that Infiniti want to brand the engine next year

I'm more intrigued by Force India being rebranded as Aston Martin Racing.
That's a pretty big deal sounds like an awesome team to race/work for.

Staying with Renault was the only real option left, and even that was a rough one. Got no reason to doubt that they'll go with Renault again next year, but TJ13 has been responsible for some utter dogshit "breaking news" stories in the past, so don't consider it 100% confirmed yet

Not sure. All that's been said is the time (03:30) and he had been partying hard beforehand. Whether that was immediately before or days before, no one knows.
Amazing that in this day and age, especially in Monaco, people seem to use potatoes as camera's.
Apart from not being able to see much, it's quite obvious it's his 760LH.
