Sorry but you lot dont half go on about the CTR being sloooooooow. I'm just saying it the way it is, it aint no turbo scooby or evo, but for a front wheel drive car it's pretty darn good. And as I said before unless they improved the cupras handling the extra power will not see it doing a time better than the RS now will it.

Man I love the RS

I'd Love to have that power in a corsa for upsetting people at the lights, but I'm not convinced it's going to be great handling.

But unless you have owned the two cars and driven both hard for long periods of time how can you compare?

so I'm the only person to own both a GSI and a CTR at the same time. Ive driven a TVR afew times but driving a few times and owning are two different things. When you own it you tend to pick on how it really works. I still get two excited by the noice of the tvr to actualy take much in when I drive it lol sad but true.

Well out of the long list of cars I could of had the 106gti was def not in the list. for me Cupra R's, RS, CTR, ITR, Clio 182 are the cars that do it for me, but I'm a tart so the 106's looks put me off so maybe I'm biased.

P.S. wanted an EVO or WRX STI but running costs and insurance meant I had to go for a budget motor

I wont bring the CTR in to it as im biased but I found the 182 to be a bit more a looker. Had some nice finishing touches that just made me think - wow thats cool. Even the pedals caught my eye.
