yeah the paint wern't too bad tbh a few stone chips but i gave it a quick once over to neaten it up a bit.

Looks good, comming along well...oh and the suspension seems to sit lower now than when you first fitted it

Mark, thanks mate, yeah sits a tad lower now the springs have been on a few hundred miles .. at least its not as tractor-ish as it was standard

UPDATE:

Engine .. now found out why it taps, misfires and generally sounds like a bag of spanners
Just whipped the rocker off to change a leaking gasket & noticed that the cam shaft is fubarbed. cylinder 1 2 3 look fine where as cylinder 4 is completly worn

Thanks guys i've tried to update the look & keep it subtle, im defiantly pleased with how its going

Charlton, yeah im suprised it still runs tbh lol i wasn't expecting it to be that worn i thought the tapping was just a sticky lifter hopefully i'll get the engine sorted over the next week .. i'd have done it today but havent got a cam kit and no where thats open stocks them

16V_1600CS, thanks mate its good to know people notice the little touches i've added to the car the dash is one of my favorite mods so far tbh

just wanted a posh spare really, at the moment the cars got 3 alloys and a steelie on .. not a good look tbh

ITS ALIVE!!!

well today we got to work on the corsa, we fitted the new camshaft & followers, cambelt, head gasket, spark plugs, ht leads, dizzy cap, rotor arm, oil change & filter...also got round to fitting the new tyres

well chuffed with it car runs smooth, quiet & pulls better than it did.

cheers lads, no pics of the work on the engine as the memory card on my camera is playing up.

altho i do have pics of todays mod

colour coded boot lock surround, sprayed myself with halfords cans need to get a new compressor tho .. the cans are awfull

Nice one mate, boot lock surround makes a nice change to the rear

I did mine with Halfords rattle cans, not a bad match/finish:



although, I never refitted the badge.

yeah it certainly does, the colour match isn't too bad with the cans like you said, your car is looking quite tidy there mate
