Why not? This is the standard interior in the red Vauxhall Corsa VXR, thats the German Opel Corsa OPC

Just going off what it says in magazine about it will have the recaros but the colours will be toned down for UK launch which to me means it wont have the blue centres.

No the Clio V6 was just something crazy and mad, the Clio 182 is the direct rival to the VXR. Clio v6 is nearly £30,000 new for crying out loud.

Clio V6 is more comparible to a Monaro in terms of drivetrain, engine size and cost.

And I know which one of those I'd rather have aswell - and it'd be from the same main dealer that a Corsa VXR would come from

2 hot hatches with similar power, differrent drivetrain so to compare the 2 is reasonable imo.

both renault and vauxhall wanted to push the boat out and create a fast little version of their standard model car

Yes, lets compare two cars of the same class? Even though....

1 is FWD, the other is RWD.
1 is front engined, the other is mid engined.
1 is a 5 seater, 1 is a 2 seater
1 is a inline 4 pot, 1 is a 6 pot V6
1 has 190bhp, the other has 255bhp

The VXR is to be compared against the Clio Sport, NOT the V6. TBH, the V6 is pretty lonley in its class.

As for "small cars" jeeeeessssuuuuussss f ing christ. I'd best compare the Radical, the Arial Atom etc as well, they are small cars....

Next up will be an argument about whats better? FWD VXR or 4x4 WRX????

I love it and im booking a test drive as soon as i can. was going to buy the 197 but im a bit board of renaults now and iv always been into vauxhauls and wanted a turbo corsa.

Although that autocar artical is quite wrong, 7.5 to 60 and 128 mph (for the clio) WTF, how can a 6 speed hot hatch with just shigh of 200 bhp top out at 128. My 172's been clocked at 6.8 to 60 and the 197's are just as qiuick. Just hoping they have botherd to quote the correct spec for th corsa and not made them up

They are simply awesome, after the crap that Corsa owners have had to endure for the past 15 years its now actually found a car capable of holding its own in the hot hatch market.

Nope, no towbar dude, center exit stops it.

Same goes for the Astra.

We're kinda screwed, becuase if i ever wanted to get a track bike, or a jetski or anything, we can't. D4, can't fit no towbar, D5, can't fit no towbar, and neither can the Astra....
