nice
cant remember what you said about having pumbed in and hand held, but def have a hand held powder one just incase
Small localised fires are easier to control with one, and wont mess up the car as much as blanket spraying the whole interior.
I think it'll be fitting a plumbed in main one to engine and cabin to though

pump is/was from my green one IIRC... think it was new when the 2.1 was built a few years back.
The wiring to it will be a bit 'inventive' too I had to do some alteration at a track day
cant r'ber the fuel tank being fuck knuckeld though - good excuse to get a wee fuel cell and flat floor it ready for a rear diffuser moohahahaha

a fuel cell needs its own firewall i belive, plus with the tank being underneather its a lower centre of gravity, i was kinda planning on putting the batt in the wheel well, wiring is inventive but that aint a problem for me.
the old tank, it was on the top its a few skins think the upper skin has dissolved, it appears to be a corsa thing,
£40 isnt gonna kill me
would love a fuel cell, but it would mean altering stuff, and making the pipeing underneath redundant, and the filler etc, ill do stuff like that when im better and in a bigger/faster car.
but the aim is to have it running as soon as poss

good plan... best thing is to use it and then see what needs improved.... more often than not the driver is the biggest factor to improve

cheers mate
i got the brakes bled, dot 5 fluid throuout. while i was doing that i noticed the handbrake looked a little scetchy, so i undid it and its hammerd, frayed to fuck
sooo i got a new one
and i found a oil pressure gauge, with sender.
im not a fan of lots gauges for no reason
this one makes sense, and for £15 i dont care if it lights up fancy colors and looks tacky

small update, after realising a fuel return pipe was needed, and some sponge on top of the tank, i had to remove it.
so with that done, i got on with replacing te handbrake.
and im not sure if there are 2 lengths for a corsa, but mine was too long, so after altering a old socket witha dremel thing, and some "big hammer" modification, i now have a nice new handbrake.
secondly the drivers engine mount i got, was for a 2ltr conversion
so now thats for sale and ive ordered my new correct mount.
next job was to fit the box and clutch, unfortunatly the mian oil seal looked a bit suspect, so ill replace that first
back of fly wheel
