Not much progress on the corsa, but it broke

















Turned out the water pump collapsed and snapped the cambelt, overheating the engine, bending sever valves and melted the head



So new items were purchased....



Skimmed head....




And now i've got it back after 2 weeks!

Was close to doing a conversion but considering i can get an engine in feb cheaper, i'm waiting till then, plus funds will be better then

Just about got it on the drive









Plans are still going ahead

Just delayed a bit as i've just forked out £450

Could beat head gasket set, thermostat and oil filter. The rest are really good prices that i could only match, not beat. Fair play

Got some discount on original prices

Saved £111 or something, so it's not that bad.

Plus all the bits were in stock, so it was convenient too

My guess with the parts prices wasn't bad then I guessed £250
