disgagree how? astra gte 16v 10 years+ before a ctr was nearly as fast and also was a cheap car. in 1987 that was a proper hot hatch. do you disagree with any of that?

i pretty much skipped over all of it till you made a ridiculous comparison between a 15-20 year old astra and a new civic, it made me smile tbh

Ok to corerct myself when the CTR was relased in 2001 name a car in that class for 15.5K new that could perform the same and was being manufacturered

172 is nowhere near the car. Test driven one, build quality was shocking, not as quick as a CTR, not as reliable knowing French cars.

i would say a 172 is faster than a ctr.not driven either but raced both and the 172 was pretty much even but i was pulling away from the ctr.not a lot but still pulling away.
