I don't know how an S3 owner can dislike it to be honest!
How comes?
The styling isn't all that dis similar. I won't mention the interior, build quality as I know you don't have issues with that.
Really? S3 is a bigger car has 3 doors, is wider and better built
Therefore not that similar

Im starting to move towards the mature looking cars now TBH im fed up with tarting them up,
The Ibiza is to Disco for me
The A3`s are too dear
these seem my best bet nice and subtle
Looking forward to having a drive in one

Nowadays I think more people are looking past the Skoda badge. Everyone knows they are made by VAG other than the completely uneducated and care less about the badge now.
And we all know what stereotypes are like with all of us having owned a Corsa at some point

I don't really think they are similar at all really, I don't think the Skoda is ugly it just does'nt greatly excite me in anyway. It just kinda looks boring to me.

Both small-medium hatchbacks aimed at drivers who want more than an every day a to b car. Both are styled to grab the eye and say I'm not a standard model. Better built? Don't be silly.
By your reckoning a Leon Cupra R isn't as good as a Golf/A3 because it has 5 doors.

no you said its simialr when its not - 1 has 3 doors and the other 5 doors and they are in aimed at different classes. The VRS cost under 16K and the S3 is 26k+

All good and well posting photos of modified ones but is the point of this post not to say that the fabia has the looks of an out of the box hot hatch ?

Steve you get all sensitive about peoples reactions to your car
Sopme people will like it/love it/hate it /rip the piss out of it
If you do not like it do not post pics of your car
Most people hate mine but I do not give a fuck and do not post pics of it anymore because of that

1 series are fugly imo no matter how well built, I however have a fabia and like the styling.
If we all liked the same there wouldn't be very much choice would there.

then you should expect the sort of reactions you get
1. for posting your car
2. for responding in a way that will encourage bad responses
You like it thats great - if others do not for what ever reason then just accept it even if it is badge snobbery

After owning an A3 Turbo and a VRS i can honestly say there is NO comparison between the two.The only thing they have in common is that there german. So an S3 owner not liking them is perfectly ok.
I liked my VRS to a point. They look a lot better in the flesh and my black one did make me proud a few times when it caught my eye in a carpark etc. From some angles it looked smart but others it just looked a boring..4x4 ish 5dr hatch.
The only thing i never liked about it was the diesel power delivery. Not to my taste but i'm a bit anal when it comes to some things.
